This is Glazed Expressions in Lincoln Park,

They have what seems to be hundreds of ceramics you can choose between,

ranging from decorative to functional or both.

and we definitely took our time deciding.

They have all the supplies you could need- tons of paint,

and we decided to make them Fourth Wing themed.

like how many layers to do depending on how we wanted the colors to turn out,

and you can pick up your finished piece about 7 days after your appointment.

We had so much fun and we're already eyeing what to paint next,

Join me on one of my favorite indoor spring activities.

This is the Spectrum of Spring flower show at the Lincoln Park Conservatory.

I think the conservatory is one of the best ways to spend an afternoon.

and there are so many beautiful plants and flowers to look at.

and the really unique flowers and arrangements.

I always see things I've never seen before,

but the Show House is definitely my favorite-

and it feels like you've stepped into a whole new world.

I always leave wishing I could take a bouquet home with me,

but I guess the next best thing is the thousands of flower pictures on my phone.

and the Spectrum of Spring flower show is open for a couple more weeks,

I think I just found my new favorite hobby.

Nina Chicago has been a Chicago staple for over 20 years

and hosts regular learn to crochet and learn to knit classes.

most fabulous selection of premium yarns and fabric.

And then the instructor taught us basic crochet

We spent 2 hours in this beautiful space with tons of

hands-on guidance and helped to get our initial triangle started.

and I can't wait to come back to keep building my skills!
