We headed to the Jay Hotel on the third-floor terrace and went

straight to the beginners table since it was our first time playing mahjong.

The Jay Hotel hosts the Mahjong Movement who sets up this unforgettable,

All players are welcome and encouraged to join

with tables set up for every skill level and style

but our instructor made the learning process effortless and so much fun.

We ordered the themed martinis for purchase,

which is sequential tiles in order and won.

Stepping into Halloween at the Legion of Honor 

and the Louvre robbers at a museum was not on my 2025 bingo card,

but Halloween at the Legion of Honour made it happen.

The dress code was art-inspired avant-garde costumes,

The decorations were on point and the ambience was a mix of spooky and fun.

Grammy-winning organist Jonathan Dimmock played haunted ballads which you could

hear throughout the galleries and the photo booth area.
