This bar is literally underground, but I'm so happy to share it with y'all.

This is Botanical Bar and it's perfect for a date night or girls night out.

Their drinks are fun. Most have something weird like chlorophyll

in them and their menu is entirely vegan. At

first, I was pretty sketched out by this vegan cheese board.

But now it's one of my favorite things to order in DC.

You must also get the trumpet mushroom, calamari and

cacio e pepe. plan it for a date night soon.
