Bouldering and rock climbing at Brooklyn Boulders in West Loop is where to go.

I highly recommend taking the Intro to Climbing class like we did,

The instructors are super kind and helpful answering any questions you

might have and showing you the correct way to boulder.

also explain the different color systems and numbers.

but the instructor was super encouraging and motivating.

we went to the other area to see more bouldering and start rock climbing.

We were taught all the proper ways to put on our harness and to lock in,

They have a great ping pong table for people to play

if they're taking a break or waiting for their friends,

area where you can sit on the couches and chairs and do some work.

If you want to stretch out your body after all that climbing,

they also have amazing yoga classes and a gym if you want to get your weights in.

The best part about the Intro to Climbing class is that you get

to come back free anytime and use the same equipment at no charge.

Lakefront Brewery 

If you're looking for something different to do outside of the city,

We went to Lakefront Brewery located in Milwaukee,

which is only about an hour and a half drive from Chicago.

we had a classic lunch of cheese curds and brats.

which shows you the entire process of how their beer is made

the very end with their packaging and distribution.

it was super fun and we were entertained the whole time.

Then we went outside to their back patio to relax and have a view of the river.

This is a great way to get outside of Chicago and explore the Midwest.
