This event was absolutely adorable and was

catered with all these tiny sandwiches from

the cutest little shop in L A with the cutest dogs available as well.

This store has all of the cold weather gear you can ever imagine.

And you might say, hey, this is Los Angeles.

Well, if you're into cold weather sports,

they specialize in making things cute and functional.

You can even try it on in their ice box which goes to 28

°F, which is below freezing and I got to try it out in there with my little mimosa.

And then I finally got to the main event, hearing writer

talk about her book “On Our Best Behavior: The price women pay to be good.”

Enjoy the longer spring days and warmer nights at this trendy new restaurant in Mar Vista! With delicious food and cool-kid vibes, it’s the perfect way to get outside and spend some time with friends or that special someone.

If you're looking for a new outdoor dining spot that just gets it,

add Beethoven's Market in Mar Vista to your list.

This newly opened restaurant has a super cute indoor bar and seating,

but the real magic happens outside on the patio,

especially at Golden Hour. With good food and great vibes,

it was the perfect cozy but trendy feel that made us want to stay for hours.

we found out they have a happy hour every day from 4 to 5 p.m.,

so definitely planning on hitting that next time.

so snag a reservation and make it a night.

Hidden away gems nestled into the arts district and surrounding area. A brewery with ample indoor and outdoor seating, Barbara’s at the Brewery is a  perfect place for a burger and a beer. 🍻 If you’re looking for a cocktail and a place to shake your tail feather, flamingo bar is where it’s at! 🦩🍸

Sunday fun day has become a strict staple in 2025,

so we thought we'd show you two new places.

Barbara's Brewery over in Lincoln Heights near the Arts District.

It's kind of hidden away behind an industrial area that also has some galleries,

It's a really cool and interesting space and inside is just as neat.

I loved my burger and Matt loved his chicken sandwich.

It was just like a great hidden gem with lots of outdoor space.

The next place is just a few minutes down the road called the Flamingo Bar.

I had seen this online and thought we'd go check it out.

This place caught us by surprise walking in from a

quiet street into a space full of color and whimsy.

this is the perfect spot for you and your friends.

So if you're looking for a few new fun places in the

arts districts for a group or just a couple of friends,

these two are definitely two places to go.

• there were lots of people dressed up for the occasion, but at the very least I recommend some solid closed toed shoes! 🤠 👟

• there was street and public parking garages super close by 🚗 
• They have canned soft and hard drinks available at the bar, and I loved my margarita! You can drink in between throwing, you’re just not allowed to be holding both a weapon and a drink simultaneously 🚫🪓🤷🏻‍♀️🍺🚫
• channel your inner ninja and try knife throwing, it was my favorite part!! 🗡️
• all of the blades are dulled, so they will not cut you, but they will cut wood!

letting out the rage at Bad Axe Throwing in Long Beach.

Grab a drink and (responsibly) throw some weapons around just like the Vikings did!

I will never steer you wrong when it comes to a good flea market…and Artists & Fleas in Venice is such an underrated market. It’s every Saturday from 11am — 5pm and is always filled with amazing vendors selling the cutest clothes and sickest pieces of jewelry.

• Venice is tricky with street parking but there is a parking lot between Abbot Kinney Blvd and Electric Ave that’s roughly a 10 minute walk from the market

💪 Pro tips
• Get there on the earlier side for first dibs on the best clothes/jewelry/etc
• I recommend walking down Abbot Kinney after roaming the flea market…loads of great restaurants/coffee shops/other stores on that street!

Shop Until You Drop! 

I strongly believe that Artists and fleas in Venice

is the most underrated flea market in LA.

Artists & Fleas is an amazing flea market chain.

They have two in New York and one in Atlanta and one in Venice.

but I will say that the one in Venice is my favorite.

like these cowboy boots go absolutely crazy.

I also found this super cute vest that I almost got but didn’t 

It's every Saturday from 11 to 5 and it's a great time.
