• Make sure to buy your tickets online because they sell out fast (especially on weekends!) Tix are $20 for a day or $36 for unlimited visits: https://seattlechristmasmarket.com/tickets/
• The lines are long but don’t be intimidated because they do go by fast - make sure that you finish any outside food and drink because they won’t allow it at check in
• Make sure to layer up since most of the market is outside!

💪 Pro tip
• To beat the crowd, usually the market is not as crowded before 5pm or on weekdays
• The Merry Go Round is included with the ticket so go live your inner child!
• You can also go INSIDE the Christmas tree - can’t believe I missed out
• Top foods I heard about were: the Bread Bowl from Baked in Bosnia, Potato Tornado skewers, and Russian dumplings from Dumpling Tzar
• Extremely long lines for the German sausages but I heard it’s worth it!
• They have non-alcoholic versions of the beverages like mulled wine and cider so your little ones can enjoy too!

Hey ho, I'm always a fan of markets in Seattle.

So of course, I couldn't miss one of the biggest ones of the year.

And if you don't have any way to get to a German village like Leavenworth,

the Seattle Christmas market did a great job of

bringing one to the heart of downtown Seattle.

I was not expecting the size of this market to be as huge as it was.

The whole place was a maze of vendors selling food, crafts goods and more.

There's photo ops like this beautiful Christmas tree, lover's

lane, and a fireplace inside the main hall.

food was a main spotlight with plenty of options from German food like sausages,

My favorite was this cream puff and German take on fries.

There's plenty of drinks like mulled wine, beer and this hot cider,

which was exactly what I needed to stay warm in the cold,

but be prepared for the long lines for all the stalls.

There's something here for everyone which explains the crowd,

but it's still a blast with the festive energy of this market.

So dress warm and take a stroll before tickets sell out.

one of the first activities I wanted to try was a viral hot tub boats.

It's one of the only outdoor activities you can still enjoy in any season,

We booked Luxus's hot tub boat adventure for my group of 6.

After checking and changing in their cozy changing area,

we set out on their hot tub boat in Lake Union.

so we could choose our own map for 2 hours.

We chose the sunset time for obvious reasons,

and this paired with our beers and music created the ultimate evening activity.

So many laughs were shared as the intimate setting

you can just take a plunge into the cold water and jump right back into heat up.

you can't control the temperature of the boat,

so don't bring the cold water in too much.

I'm glad I got to check off this bucket list item.

It's such a great experience to share with your

friends that you'll have to check off too.

• BE BRAVE AND DO THE COLD PLUNGE! This was the cherry on top - being able to fling yourself off the rooftop and jump into the cold Lake Union water really wakes you up!

Waldhouse brings the traditional Scandinavian experience of saunas

and cold plunges to the heart of Seattle.

and a beautiful rooftop where you can lounge and soak in the views.

we were greeted warmly by the owners of Wild House,

a group of friends and family who just wanted

to share one of their favorite experiences in Seattle.

We then got to change into swimsuits and start the soothing sauna experience.

We could add water and essential oils to really steam up the room and add a scent.

all you had to do was wear one of the provided

robes and step outside for some cool weather and refreshments.

we even had the opportunity to take a dip in Lake Union.

but it didn't even matter because we'd just get back into the sun of a warm up.

We did the sunset tour and I cannot emphasize how good this timing is.

Being able to capture the sunset on the boat's rooftop was perfect for pictures,

and the vibe completely changed after it got dark.

Wadhouse was a whole two hour journey that was filled with luxury and relaxation.

offers a unique cocktail night experience every Friday from 5 to 9 p.m.

You and your date will enjoy a curated 3 course dinner where each

served tableside by the restaurant's mixologist.

Come hungry because every dish is sure to wow your taste buds.

The main course featured a lobster ravioli with

a sun dried tomato pesto that was divine,

and the cannoli cake was a delightful twist on a classic Italian dessert.

• You’ll want to make sure you’re ready for the sugar overload before you walk through the door! I’m a big fan of sweets, but my boyfriend and I shared one flight and it was more than enough sugar for the two of us together.

💪 Pro tips
• If you’re over 21 and want to indulge in a tipsy hot chocolate, they have that too! They also offer beer and ice cream pairings and wine and ice cream pairings if you’re so inclined. I’ll definitely be back when it’s warmer to enjoy a Prosecco float 😋
• There’s a table with a little fire pit, and I believe they offer tableside s’mores, so be sure to grab that spot if you’re interested!

One of my favorite things about the winter

months is indulging in delicious hot cocoas.

So imagine my delight when I discovered Frosty Barrel,

where you can get a hot chocolate and ice cream flight.

My boyfriend and I agreed that the s'mores hot cocoa was definitely our favorite,

but the Chai hot cocoa was the most unique.

I will definitely be back to try a wine and ice cream pairing on a warmer day.
