• Make sure to layer up since most of the market is outside!

💪 Pro tip
• To beat the crowd, usually the market is not as crowded before 5pm or on weekdays
• The Merry Go Round is included with the ticket so go live your inner child!
• You can also go INSIDE the Christmas tree - can’t believe I missed out
• Top foods I heard about were: the Bread Bowl from Baked in Bosnia, Potato Tornado skewers, and Russian dumplings from Dumpling Tzar
• Extremely long lines for the German sausages but I heard it’s worth it!
• They have non-alcoholic versions of the beverages like mulled wine and cider so your little ones can enjoy too!

Hey ho, I'm always a fan of markets in Seattle.

So of course, I couldn't miss one of the biggest ones of the year.

And if you don't have any way to get to a German village like Leavenworth,

the Seattle Christmas market did a great job of

bringing one to the heart of downtown Seattle.

I was not expecting the size of this market to be as huge as it was.

The whole place was a maze of vendors selling food, crafts goods and more.

There's photo ops like this beautiful Christmas tree, lover's

lane, and a fireplace inside the main hall.

food was a main spotlight with plenty of options from German food like sausages,

My favorite was this cream puff and German take on fries.

There's plenty of drinks like mulled wine, beer and this hot cider,

which was exactly what I needed to stay warm in the cold,

but be prepared for the long lines for all the stalls.

There's something here for everyone which explains the crowd,

but it's still a blast with the festive energy of this market.

So dress warm and take a stroll before tickets sell out.

Looking for a fun and educational twist on a date night or a friend's night out,

Pacific Science Center's After Dark Adventure is a great

way to experience one of Seattle's best museums.

So join my friends and I to this 21 plus exclusive museum adventure.

The After Dark series at Pasi is basically an event that combines science,

and nightlife and one extraordinary experience.

My favorite highlights had to be the butterfly

Interacting with these butterflies at night and they

The museum also brought on a DJ to play some mixes,

and that was a great way to get people grooving

in the middle of all of these other interactive elements.

But if you wanted something more quiet and hands-on though,

they still had other funding services like this Lego building one.

experience Paci since there's less of a crowd,

and you can get up close with everything.

It felt like we were in a scene from the night at the museum.

Adventure into Light Maze

If you're looking for a unique and festive Christmas

experience for the f look no further because enchant

is probably one of the coolest experiences you'll find in Seattle.

Not to mention, it's the world's largest Christmas maze

This experience takes you through performances,

an ice skating rink and beautiful lights caps around every corner.

My friends and I also got the Premier Pro

which helped to skip the big line outside

and get some free drink tickets and vouchers.

We were escorted through a separate passageway and then entered

the stadium to see this crazy set of lights.

There were so many people storefronts and shops to look from,

but we started with getting a few drinks to get the night started.

I loved this cute light of cup. The cocktail drink came in

and we all thought it did the job. Well, we also got a winter

cocktail that had a nice tart taste to it.

But my favorite was the Spike Hot cocoa that we got later on in the maze itself.

Entering the maze and exploring the different quarters was a wonder.

There was just so much to continuously look at and be bewildered by

like these light lines with holographic colors, interactive dance floor,

cute photo ops and my favorite being inside the main Christmas tree.

I also thought it was cute how there was a

quest to search for eight hidden stars like these,

which added a fun little game element for the kids.

The cherry on the top was definitely the ice skating rink.

My friends had never ice skated before and this was the perfect grounds to do so.

Despite the many people, ice skating that we got plenty of time on the rinks.

Skating to the sound of Christmas music was definitely a

vibe with how bright and lively this event was.

It really felt like we were in New York and the fact that it was indoors was a plus.

It was great how there was something for everyone here.

So I definitely see this as a great activity for friends, family or even a date night.

• You can spend as much time at the top as you’d like! You can ride back down whenever, prior to the gondola closing for the night. 🌙

• During the winter months, also consider wearing shoes with good traction! 🥾
• If you’re skiing or boarding, you can actually reach Summit House on the Rainier Express Chair lift. ⛷️🏂

Here’s your chance to see some of Washington State's most

I went in the summer here but you can go up in the winter too.

The ride is about 15 minutes and is stunning. You get a perfect 360 view all the way up.

• There are SO MANY OPTIONS that come in all shapes and sizes that are ready for painting, from plates to bowls to book ends to ornaments! 🎄
• You can find the prices either on the shelf they are located on, or on the bottom of the piece! 🥣
• That price will be all that you pay! There is no additional charge for the paints/glazes you use — or to put it in the kiln! 🔥
• You’ll see a QR code in the café that leads you to an instructional video I would highly recommend watching! We had never painted pottery before, and there were a few useful tips in there to make sure everything went smoothly. (Such as not putting paint on the bottom of the piece and the necessary amount of coats for items that will hold food) 🍚
• It takes between 7 and 10 days for your peace to be fired and ready for pick up! 🫖
• Take a photo of your piece when you’re all done! You’re asked to fill out a little piece of paper with your name, phone number, and a description of the piece, but that picture ensures that you get the correct piece when you go to pick up! 🤳

• You don’t have to finish the whole piece in one sitting! We went near closing time the first time and came back the next week to finish everything up! ⏱️
• Take your time and get creative! We looked at the shelf full of the complete pieces to get inspired! 👩‍🎨
